For those who live in or plan to be in San Diego this weekend, former WWE diva Stacy Keibler will be appearing at Comic-Con 2008 on Friday. The Rosedale native, who will be there promoting her upcoming ABC Family mini-series Samurai Girl, will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
“I am so excited to reconnect with all of my wrestling fans,” Keibler said. “I hope everyone will stop by and see me. I will be signing autographs from 1:30 p.m. in the ABC Family booth. I will also be shooting ‘A Day in the Life’ segment [for Extra], and I would love to record as many of you as I can.”
Prior to the autograph signing, Keibler will participate in a panel discussion about Samurai Girl with castmates.
Beth Phoenix defeats Kelly Kelly, Santino winning Beth’s heart?

Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix
WWE Diva Beth Phoenix continues to push for her goal to become the first Diva to hold both WWE Diva belts, defeating Kelly Kelly in their matchup at this Monday’s Raw. The Glamazon has another problem- what to do about Santino Marella? Santino’s wrestling record continues to be abysmal. On Raw, Santino reissued his open challenge- for men only this time- and was promptly squashed by D-Lo Brown, back at WWE for the first time in five years! Beth Phoenix watched the match from ringside, with an internal match of her own to win. Santino has no idea what is in store for him.
Raw plays a clip of Beth Phoenix beating Santino Marella at last Monday’s Raw and some footage of the inside of Mehegan Sun Casino. Kelly Kelly makes her way to the ring for the next match, then Beth Phoenix’s music hits and out comes the Glamazon.
Beth walks up to Kelly and then starts forcing her back into the corner. Kelly comes out and takes Beth to her knees. Kelly avoids and attack by Beth, tries to roll her up, but can’t. Beth picks Kelly up and runs her into the turnbuckle and then scoop slams Kelly.
Beth is dominating Kelly and applies a body stretch maneuver on the mat as Kelly tries to fight back with elbows. Kelly breaks loose only to be caught by an elbow to the face. Kelly hits Beth with an enziguri kick followed by a tilt-a-whirl head scissors and a dropkick. Kelly misses a flip attack in the corner and Beth catches her in a chicken wing. Kelly rolls out of it. Beth overpowers Kelly, hitting her Glam Slam for the win.
Winner: Beth Phoenix
Santino Marella vs. D-Lo Brown
Santino makes his way to the ring as a clip is played from last week showing Beth Phoenix answering his challenge and defeating him. Santino says his open challenge was referring to fighting a man and he doesn’t want to fight people with fallopian tubes, he fights them with an Adams apple. Santino says tonight he will issue the same challenge. Out comes former WWE Intercontinental Champion D-Lo Brown, making his return after a five year absence!
As D-Lo makes his way to the ring, Beth Phoenix makes her way ringside and watches the match. D-Lo goes to work on Santino. It’s another squash match as a chant begins from the crows “Let’s Go D-Lo”. Brown hits a big suplex and his signature leg drop. D-Lo clotheslines Santino and goes to the top. D-Lo hits his Lo Down Frogsplash on Santino for the pinfall and the win.
Winner: D-Lo Brown
What is it going to take for Santino the man to regain his self-respect?
Beth Phoenix enters the ring and comes face to face with Santino. Beth alternately yells at Santino to fight her and to leave her alone. Santino is trying to avoid Beth and keep himself out of harm’s way. Santino grabs Beth from behind. Beth reverses Santino and they change positions several times. Beth and Santino stop and look at each other with a puzzled look on both faces. Beth and Santino then grab each other in the ring and kiss! Santino exits the ring and walks up the ramp with a confused look on his face, while Beth looks like she can’t believe she might have feelings for the jerk.
Poor, poor, confused Santino. Beth Phoenix is all about winning and the only way she can rationalize feeling for Santino is if there’s untapped potential within Santino to become a champion (even if there isn’t). We’re concerned that Santino’s going to get help from the Glamazon to turn around his losing streak whether he wants it, or not.
Santino walks up the ramp for a second week in a row with Beth watching him from the ring. The look on his face this time shows a range of emotions, from confusion, to wariness, to wonder. What fortune awaits Santino next week on Raw?
